School Geography Bee
Congratulations to 4L scholar Aditya Pydimarri who emerged triumphant as Parnassus’ School Geography Bee champion earlier today. 2L scholar Danny Dorfman was our second place finisher and 3L scholar Anastasia Kolosovsky placed third.

Each year, almost 3 million students in 11,000 schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. Atlantic and Pacific territories and Department of Defense Dependents Schools participate in the National Geographic Bee. With a mission to inspire, illuminate and teach, the National Geographic Society is one of the world’s largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations. The member-supported Society, which believes in the power of science, exploration and storytelling to change the world, reaches over 600 million people each month through its media platforms, products and events. National Geographic has funded more than 11,000 research, conservation and exploration projects, and its education programs promote geographic literacy.

Aditya is awaiting the results of his qualifying test to determine if he will proceed to the State Championship Bee later this spring. We wish him the best of luck!
